Welcome

All family members can have their own family home pages here. The only requirements are that your surname is Gollaher (or a variant thereof), or that you can show lineage to a Gollaher descendant, usually within the dearbfine, or all families of a common great grandfather. Exceptions are permitted and encouraged. Write the webmaster (me) here for more information.

| Here
you can search for member families by location. The colors
indicate where member families reside, or where the webmaster knows of
Gollaher descendants he has corresponded with.
Member families are listed below by state or province. If they have a homepage, you can click on the home icon to visit them. To e-mail them, click on their name. If they only have an e-mail address, you can click on the e-mail icon to e-mail them (provided, of course, you are not using AOL ... I don't know if AOL supports this yet). No icon indicates they either have no internet access or don't wish their addresses to be listed. Contact the webmaster for more info. |

FINE: An old Irish term for a family kin group, pronounced roughly finna
The most common form of the fine was the dearbfine, which typically
consisted of three or four generations of families who had a common
living patriarchal heir. A dearbfine consisted not only of blood
relatives, but fosterages, hostages and others who associated themselves
with the dearbfine, and agreed to be bound by their customs and laws.
m': "son of" ní : "daughter of" |
